China and India Oil Companies Join Hands in Acquiring Syrian Oil Assets
Chinese and Indian state oil companies succeed in forging a cooperative venture in energy resources. Indian media reported yesterday that the China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) and Oil and National Gas Corporation Ltd.(ONGC) together won out over 8 other competitors in acquiring PetroCanada’s 38% stake in the Syrian al-Surat oil fields for $573 Million.
